Pregnancy Conflict Consultation

If your pregnancy is unplanned we will support you in making your own responsible decision. In doing so, we will respect your right to self-determination and will not influence your decision.

Contents of the conflict consultation:

• Support in decision making, taking into account your personal life circumstances
• Information on legal entitlements and help before and after the birth
• Information on organisations which carry out abortions and the methods offered
• Information on costs and financing of abortions
• Issue of a consultation certificate in accordance with § 219 of the StGB (Criminal Code)
• Advice after an abortion

The statutory provisions for an abortion:

• Basically an abortion is only possible if there are at least 3 days between the pregnancy conflict consultation and an abortion (§ 219 StGB).
• After this consultation an abortion can be carried out by a doctor within a deadline of 12 weeks after conception (14 weeks after the start of the last period).
